Though I'm unable to be out and about, I do appreciate seeing the blue skies over the Bitterroot Valley. It will be a white Christmas for us again this year!

It is a white day!

We are surely in for a white Christmas with a good amount of snow falling this week. Belinda has been working hard to keep the deck clear so that our outdoor kitty, Patch, has a safe place to get to.

First snow since last spring

We woke this morning to the first measureable snow since last spring. Just enough to look pretty, not enough to cause Charles to start the snowblower!

With the Christmas decorations going up in the parsonage after Thanksgiving, we were treated today by the present of both of the indoor cats (Wesley & Monty) taking a nap under the tree, at the same time!

Halloween was a terrific, if not damp evening at the church for the annual Trunk or Treat event. Always fun being with such a generous group at Stevi UMC!!

My first great-grandchild, Finley, arrived this week with her mother, Karen, and grandparents, Rob (my son) and Lisa.

Visiting the farmer's market in Hamilton and a drive to Finley Point on Flathead Lake were among the highlights of her first trip to Montana.

We had a treat this afternoon when a dear lady from our church (Betty Lowell) stopped by with friends in their 1931 Model A. What fun, driving around town in such a stylish auto!

Quilting is quite a popular activity in the Bitterroot Valley and today I visited a show put on by the Sapphire Quilt Guild at the Stevensville High School. Such talent on display!

Independence Day 2016

While Charles was off with Dean Diers, hiking to the top of St. Mary's Peak, Belinda and I went to a delightful picnic at the home of Dave and Connie Rakiecki.

What fun we had today in Missoula! We spent a delightful morning wandering through the Missoula Farmer's Market in Caras Park along the banks of the Clark Fork River.

Attending the Yellowstone Annual Conference meeting in Helena was certainly an experience. There are people here from all across Montana and half of Wyoming (and Salmon, Idaho)!
