Not to be swayed by such things as the weather and the promised crowds, Belinda and I decided to venture out and enjoyed some shopping. They picked up some neat bargains at their favorite haunt "West End Collectibles."

Christmas at Fort Concho

With Belinda and Charles moving to McCamey, Texas in January (Charles will be assuming an interim pastorate there), there was time to enjoy the sights and sounds of a Christmas at Fort Concho!

Gala!

Belinda and I went to the gala dinner at the Rio Concho West club house this evening. And what an evening it was! There was special music, and even valet parking!

Surprise!

What a delightful surprise for us when we woke up this morning and gazed out of the window: SNOW! It is only 37 this afternoon - we are glad to be indoors today!

We did make it out this afternoon to Breezy's, a delightful ladies re-sale shop in San Angelo for a bit of shopping. Belinda was invited today to the Rio Concho West Christmas Dinner and wanted to pick out something special for the event. She looked fabulous!!!!

Fun in Angelo

This week, Belinda had fun having lunch with friends at a downtown restaurant! In the picture, I am on the right, Mary is on the left and Mary's daughter Sandra is in the middle.

What a Wonderful Luau We Had Tonight!

We had a wonderful time at the luau tonight! Our hostesses were so welcoming (as always). The company assembled was good natured and fun loving. We enjoyed a delicious meal and played Bunko, which was fun!

Relaxing and Reading at Home

It is great to relax in my comfortable chair and read a good book!

Shopping in the City

Today was a really nice day. Belinda and I relaxed in the morning, and then in the afternoon, we went shopping at my favorite consignment shop in San Angelo: Breeze's Boutique!

I found a nice Hawaiian shirt that I plan to wear with my yellow capri pants. It will be perfect for the luau I'll be attending at RCW next month!

I got my laptop going today. It was great to be able to email and surf the internet!

Shopping at the Mall...

My daughter Belinda and I had a great time at the mall today.

We got some great buys. One of the purchases was my new cell phone. I decided on an AT&T "Go" phone.

It is appropriately named since I am all about "go-go-going" these days!

Yes, I said SHEEP... all around San Angelo, Texas! Actually, there are loads of artistic renditions of sheep. Here are just a few that can be seen in this fair town.
