Happy Trunk-or-treat!

Amber has the "Best Costume"
The annual Trunk or Treat event took place tonight in the church parking lot.   Nine trunks, trucks, or vans were present including a tent for refreshments manned by Bill & Carol G. Thanks to all of the generous contributions made by church members of candy for the effort!

Over the pass to Idaho!

After visiting the wildlife refuge near Stevensville, we decided to make a jaunt over the Lolo Pass into Idaho for lunch! There was already a good deal of snow at the higher elevations!

A walk along the river

A lovely day for a ride
A pause with Rob
With Rob in town for the weekend, we took advantage of the lovely October weather to visit the nearby Lee Metcalf Wildlife Refuge.

Post-bazaar fun!

Teaching Rob to play Skip-bo!
Beef Veggie soup from the Bazaar
Belinda and Charles certainly know how to keep one amused and well-fed!

The bazaar held at the church yesterday kept us busy from early morning to late afternoon. Today we were able to secure some bargains from the left-overs including some of the best beef vegetable soup anywhere!

Another church bazaar!

Helping to set-up for the UMW bazaar
My contribution to the bazaar
A highlight of the October visit was the annual bazaar put on by the Stevensville UMC United Methodist Women. My contribution to the effort was an array of knitted scarves which by all accounts were very well received.

Preparing for a festival in Stevensville

I had a great time in the church fellowship hall tonight -- helping to make the church's scarecrows entry for the town's Scarecrow Festival this weekend.
