The Rio Concho West folks invited residents who were veterans to display pictures of themselves during their service days. I was the only woman veteran whose picture was displayed this year... even though my service was for England, but after all, we are Allies!)
Thanksgiving time is always a good time to reflect on one's blessings. I am so grateful for my family and friends and for such a wonderful place to live.
And I had fun making this special Thanksgiving cake! It was my contribution toward the annual Thanksgiving Day dinner held at the RCW Clubhouse. Every year, our hairdresser Jeannie and her husband Dusty thoughtfully provide a special meal for residents at the RCW.
